How To: Social Bookmark

After signing up and signing in,
Community Members can easily social bookmark journal entries,
characters, locations, and other content on Our Spiritual Adventure.

Social bookmarking is not for every body, but in case it is, Our Spiritual Adventure makes it easy for you to do. This video will help you understand social tagging.

So, what is this new fangled thang called "social bookmarking"? Web 2.0 entrepreneurs have taken the keyword tagging concept and built online communities around it. Social bookmarking websites ( like:Delicious, Digg and StumbleUpon ) are large communities of User that identify cool and useful websites and articles with keywords. You might have bookmarked a website using your browser (Safari, Internet Explore, FireFox...) by clicking on the star or heart icon on the tool bar. Social bookmarking allows you to share your favorites with friends and strangers. By adding keywords to your favs, anyone browsing for that keyword now knows you recommend them checking out the website or article.

Want to try it?! Look for the row of icons at the bottom of a post. Each icon represents a different social bookmarking community. Click on your favorite. If you are not a member of that community, you will have to sign up. If you are a member, then you sign in, to socially tag.
